Piano Improv on the Coca-Cola Theme
161Here's my piano improv on the Coca-Cola Theme Jingle.
I feel like I could have done more with the theme, and more with the song development-wise but overall, I'm satisfied with how the improv went. I did my best with trying to vary it up a bit--you'll notice that I execute a few major-to-parallel-minor modulations in the performance, not to mention the many key changes throughout--and I wanted to play around with the minor version of the jingle (which, turns out, sounds *really* cool). Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this performance!
I'm going to lay off the improvs for a while because the recent ones have started sharing ideas lately, and I want every improv to stand on its own--to be its own thing, y'know? Lately, they're starting to sound too similar, so I'm going to give it a break and play some more cover songs for you guys in the next few days! A few on the list to be finished this month: Destiny Islands from Kingdom Hearts (Hopefully, this one will be out by the end of the week), a Rob Scallon piano cover, and maybe Toby's Dramatic Song and a cover of one of the themes from The Dark Knight Rises.
Lots of stuff coming up in the next few days! And I'm looking forward to it! :)
