Picasa lets you organize, edit, and upload your photos with quick and easy steps, and provides you with a convenient way to view, edit, and organize your photos on your computer.|When you open Picasa, it simply searches through the folders on your computer and displays the photos it finds . It displays files of the specified types found in the folders you select to search.|When using the editing tools in Picasa, the original files remain intact. Changes you make to a photo are only viewable in Picasa until you choose to save them. Even so, Picasa creates a new version of the photo with the changes made, keeping the original file unchanged.|Picasa uses face recognition technology to find and group similar faces across its entire photo collection.
