The road to West Point was about as bad as I remember it. I was hoping that these monsters would start to die off, or at least slow down, but so far nothing. I know this all started with a virus, I had a front row seat for the end of the world, but maybe there is something more than that. Something beyond science and reason. The speed these things move around at is enough to exhaust me after just a few minutes, and I'm in fantastic shape. I've found zombies locked in rooms, where I know they haven't been eating anything for well over a year now. They should be dead, but they're very clearly not.
I guess all those medical textbooks I read haven't gotten me any closer to understanding what's going on.
