With a few teaks to the SA configuration file we might be able to achieve a decent enough performance and quality balance in VR for MSFS, this could be even better for less demaning files. More details below.

C:\Program Files\Streaming Assistant\driver\bin\win64

File name: RVRPlugin.ini

Things to tune:

- Codec bit rate and max bitrate.
- Picture brightness, saturation "increasing this one will provide better colors".
- Contrast "for better blacks".
