This demo does not at all represent the final quality of the game;
this is an early preview version featuring the beginning of the game, but
lacking many of the features to be found in the final release, therefore, it
has been labeled Beta.



The following errors are known to occur:

-tile priority errors (characters appearing over things they should not etc)
-some unpassable tiles that should be passable and vice versa
-when characters attempt to flee from battle and fail, they spin around
-some effects may appear in front of the text boxes
-various small graphicall glitches
-misplaced background tiles


The following things will be changed and/or added


-the battle system is still basic and will be reworked
-the battle system will feature up to five characters at once
-various text parts (when gaining EXP or opening a chest) will be changed
-more places on the world map will be accessible
-all magic and attack effects will be completely replaced
-various character sprites and monsters will be replaced as well
-many new sound effects will be added
-the menue system will be completely redone
-gameplay improvements are to come

Thanks for your understanding, this demo is meant as a small preview of what
to expect; please be optimistic we will have all flaws sorted out for the final release.

Pier Solar (A.K.A Pier Solar and the Great Architects)(Codenamed The Tavern RPG) is a Homebrew RPG project born on the forums of Eidolon's Inn.
Pier Solar will be the very first all new game to appear on the Sega Mega Drive and Sega CD in this millennium. It is not a port, not a translation, and has no ripped content whatsoever.

''In a prospered and peaceful town called Reja, there live three best friends: Hoston, Alina and Edessot.

Young and curious, they want to go on a herb-seeking quest to help cure Hoston's father's illness.
Little do they know ... it will be the beginning their lifetime journey where they will learn
the true meaning of friendship and the thrill of adventure.

This journey will demand their courage and widom to solve the long lost mystery while
they face the forces of destruction by the evil man who is trying to change the world for his own good.
Trough his escapade, they will be reborn as great heroes to protect the universe from a mistaken purpose.

Pier Solar is originated from the Sega Mega Drive Homebrew community of Eidolon´s Inn in 2004. It was started as a small project to bring the members of the site to virtual life in a little RPG, but after a while it became much more.

The team hopes to create a Role Playing Game matching all the other great classics of the 16-Bit-era.
