"Pikmin" was released for the Nintendo GameCube in 2001, developed in-house and published by Nintendo. In this video, CRT Reverie's Deceiver digs deep in the dirt, pilfering for any peculiar plants he can find in order to conduct this special dissection of his favorite RTS puzzle game!
Fuel up your spaceship, check your mirrors for stray asteroids, and don't inhale any of that deadly oxygen as we take a closer look at Pikmin. Don the role of Captain Olimar, that character in Smash you hate playing against because you know somehow he's just cheap, in his debuting role. Prepare to fight for your life as you hunt down the missing parts of your spaceship before your 30 Days are up. This can only be done with the help of the carrot-esque local plant lifeforms: Pikmin! Command legions of tiny plant people to help return Olimar back to his family as well as engage in intense scientific discoveries. Bulborbs, Fiery Blowhogs, and Snagrets all await you on this vaguely familiar dystopian planet. Will Deceiver be able to save Olimar with minimal Pikmin casualties? Stick around and find out!
