[Pillar Loves Tabletop Games] Here I Stand
Wars of the Reformation, where players will control a power and lead it to victory through military conquest, theological struggle, naval dominance, and personal objectives such as construction, publications, and ensuring a male heir for the English crown.
I skipped over the battle segment, but it basically involves dice equal to units, plus leader's rating, plus a die for the defenders, and trying to roll 5s and 6s, eliminating that many opposing units.
I will make a greater effort to go through the rules properly and teach this game at least once. I'll have to schedule a day for it.
I'm pretty much done buying board games, now. With the exception of expansions, improvements, and games I used to own, I'll be leaving my collection where it's at.
