Pillars of Eternity: Adra Dragon [EASY]
21Easy way to defeat and loot the Adra Dragon Reign if you couldn't do it with direct confrontation.
Go down to face the Adra Dragon and look after a Diplomatic Solution (Level 2).
Walk close to the ledge and the Dragon will show up.
After the dialog, the Dragon will stay closer to the ledge, within reach of long range attacks.
Climb up the rocks.
1:35 Then you have two options:
1) Go after Falanroed [Scorched Blade] and either kill to free the Dragon or just to get her armor or to just have a chit-chat. Its your only chance to meet her. DR11 Autumn Fire.
2) Attack the Dragon from the ledge right away.
Equip your Dragon Slayer Squad with long range weapons and give preference to damage - despite the slow speed - to bypass the Dragon's high DR.
Also evoke the Chanters to use the protect and bold spells: The Dragon Thrashed, The Dragon Wailed.
4:00 Use Hiravias to cast his long range spells (15m + 6.5m) to start up the fight, as all other party members can only use spells when in combat.
The clash will start and after some minutes it will be all over and you can loot 5 stashes with excellent gear. Specially the Red Vengeance armor DR11.
