Pilotwing 64 is Nintendo's sequel to the SNES game Pilotwings. Pilotwings 64, much like its predecessor, got to act something of a tech demo for what the platform could do, which leads to the game featuring a number of mechanics and graphical show-offs, but also giving the game a somewhat split personality at times. At times it wants to be a cool flight sim, but at times it is more of a gimmicky arcade game.

The game is pretty fun and mechanically solid. But it does get a bit repetitive I can feel, and some of the missions are a tad... off. But I still enjoy the game for what it is.
