273The Pimax 8K and Pimax 5K+ Pre-orders have started today, and now you can pre-order your Pimax VR headset directly from the official Pimax website PimaxVR.com. In this video, I'm announcing the Pimax pre-order prices and specifications of each VR headset model, and also som additional info you might need to know about, including my personal recommendation!
Pimax is available in 3 models, the PImax 8K, 5K+ and a 5K Business Edition. The Pimax 5K BE differs from the 8K and 5K+ by having OLED panels instead of LCD, which both has its pros and cons, as mentioned in the video.
The official prices for Pimax are as follows:
Pimax 5K+: 699 USD
Pimax 8K: 899 USD
Pimax 5K BE 999 USD

The prices are only for the headsets alone, without base stations and controllers. The accessories can be ordered separately. Also, as of now, I assume the prices does not include shipping costs.

The Pimax 8K and the Pimax 5K+ are two next generation high end VR headsets with ultra wide FOV and high resolution display panels releasing soon. They are a big step forward from the current VR generation of HTC Vive, HTC Vive Pro, Samsung Odyssey and Oculus Rift. The Pimax VR headsets are getting released for first backers at the beginning of October 2018 and the pre-orders starts today!
