There aren't many changes to what i previousely released and its still the old alpha31 because of the Lua Models Resource which i like so well. The difference i like to present here is first the starting point in far off systems, it will make the still somewhat bareboned game more interesting because i assume anybody likes to find the way to Sol first. No matter where you will have only a rotten Lander with no equipment, anything you have to earn yourself - no gifts. This means you are bound for a while to make interplanetary cargo runs, you neither can make a reconning without the already quite expensive radar mapper (for someone with 100 credits). Mainly i fitted (and i'm still up to) the scripts to this. The fixed value of 4 days for interplanetary distances is unsuitable, you need something which respects the possibility of a very large system like the one you see in this clip. The distance to some targets is about 700 AU and 4 days are not only a little to less time for this.
The expression i used is based on the distance and a mediacre travel speed of 2AU per day. It's lowered with the use of a logarithm for longer distances (but it maybe needs some finetuning).
However, it isn't easy as you can see, the very first contract i fullfilled easy, but for the second i nearly ran out of fuel and time even if i thought i have a month spare time.
(the fuel use for my ships is quite high, due to two reasons; high fuel consumption and low acceleration values - low at least compared to standard release of pioneer, but i see absolutely no sense in ships with 30G acceleration it also makes the AI pilots unbeatable while with more reasonable maximum speeds around 10G it will be fun and possible to win a dogfight).
This method i will also add to other interplanetary missions and as well to the rest of timed missions because even when you jump in to such a system the fixed value of 4 days is simplyfied said just tard. Also i have planned to extend the "Taxi" missions to interplanetary Taxi service to provide more possibilities to earn money at the very start of the game, because you will be bound for quite a while to your starting system until you can buy a hyperdrive and / or other needed equipment.
Yes, fortunately it's possible to fit a hyperdrive to the Lander which transforms it to a nice multipurpose vessel with the only drawback of having no offensive or defensive armor.
