Once just for lolz, and to see what would happen, I did do a full run of termina using mostly just pipe bombs. The early game is a breeze since you’ll be able to one shot everything. Where the pipe bombs start losing effectiveness is later on in the game, one you would otherwise be using the red virtue, meat grinder or any other high damage item. Toward the endgame, specially if you have the leechmonger ring and the yeagetsu amulet, or the ability to inflict burning, poison or bleeding, the pipe bombs lose their shine and it will become a challenge to defeat the end game bosses since they cannot deliver as much damage.
