In one of the early levels of the Dungeon of fear and hunger, a lone zombie will be found wandering the hallways of the prison dragging himself without legs, which we can assume were cut off by some of the nearby prison guards.

You see, although the zombie is dead, he can still feel, and he is feeling sad. A sad zombie. When you use the talk skill with him, you can try to be menacing and threaten him, which prompts a surprising response when you tell the zombie to prepare to die (even though he’s already undead), the undead prisoner will reply that he wants to die, and then stays still so you can do what you’re going to do. He is hoping for you to end his misery.

Learning this does lend a different context to the zombie, when you start to see him less of a menace, and more of another victim of the dungeon, but at least he is easier to deal with with this trick. Zombies hate this one simple trick. Truly a nasty little situation the zombie man has found him
