Same race different race director this year. Ryan Fulton, Transylvania Stage race promotor purchased Blue Ridge Adventures in Jan 2023. I know Ryan and I know he is going to do a good job promoting the race. I also know the Pisgah and have done this race 7+ times. There is a reason I keep coming back.
Stage 1 kicked off with a shorter prologue on some of the faster less technical trails this area has to offer. I went full gas early, gapped over the first climb, and then kept the throttle open to finish the stage 2:21 up on 2nd place. A flat tire could put me down 2:21 and with 4 stages left the week is far from over.
