Pitfall 3D Beyond The Jungle playthrough part 2
0Continuing our journey we are within the city underneath the before mentioned force dome. Granted I think we were under it before but the trip under ground for some reason makes me think we slipped under it somehow. But this is certainly a unique stage, fighting more new enemies and familiar ones as we make our way around to various pyramid tops to active the lucense we activated down below previously.
Getting into the central pyramid means we end up facing off against a fairly big guardian. For us, the lucense makes us weightless, but due to him being so huge it's like water. So we have to navigate around the ever changing laser maze in order to keep raising the level before drowning the sucker and making our way out. Which is considerably more impressive with the comic cutscene vs the CGI one because while sure it blasts a sealed top open and disperse the dome, not much else was to it. This version makes it way more interesting. With Bruce Campbell demonstrating his pipes a bit.
The next stage was rough due to the specific paths I took leaving me unprepared to fight the guys with arm canons, as getting the timing right to hit them and NOT get tossed around was rough.
