And here we are, the final two stages of the game. You'd have expected a boss to maybe try and prevent your prison escape but nope, we're out and semi lost getting to the final battleground. The Dark Veil is extensively a dark twisted version of the very first stage of the game, and aspects of the underground cavern with the red lucense spots. It kinda has almost everyone from all the stages twisted and dark.

The final stage is our final seek and destroy stage, seeking out giant crystals to break in order to get access to the last rift of the game. Pretty much a stage where you kinda need to make sure you've destroyed everything before proceeding to another section or else you might go crazy trying to find what you missed in a past section. We then encounter the twist final boss and I'm SHOCKED I did so well against it. While the first phase isn't too bad, I'd always die at least several times on the second phase but I only died once on the third phase which is a vast improvement.

And yeah, the credits mention a character that you would have no idea about unless you viewed the comic book cutscenes when it shows the who voiced who section.

One thing I have to say is that the overall theme score for this game is utterly stellar, and the title theme and it's mild variations just perfectly encapsulate what I dub "adventure". I feel it rivals, if not even surpasses even the most iconic of character themes across media.
