This tutorial walks you through where to find (and where to mine) for some of the rare resources in Planet Crafter. These locations include aluminum, iridium, uranium, sulfur, osmium, zeolite, and pulsar quartz. Some of these locations are hard locked behind walls of ice that will only melt at certain temperature milestones in the game. And the drills themselves are not unlocked until certain pressure milestones.
A valid grinding strategy is the set up a bunch of drills in the aluminum hills in order to craft super alloy in the early game before unlocking the drill t2 and being able to mine for super alloy that way.
