14Starting Planet Zoo Franchise Mode for the first time? 🦒 Here’s what you need to know to build your first zoo the right way!
Start small with essential buildings: Keeper Hut, Staff Room, Quarantine, Vet Surgery, and Trade Center. Keep staff buildings away from guests to avoid a negative impact.
Use the electricity radius from your entrance to power buildings and save money.
Starting animals for Franchise Mode: choose cheap herbivores like pronghorn antelope or springbok with a higher appeal, or warthog, peafowl, or flamingo with slightly lower appeal. These are all animals that are easy and cheap to care for and breed.
Add donation boxes, education signs (speaker), and staff. Let the game run to earn money, and don’t expand too fast.
Add exhibits, pick high-appeal species, and set up auto-sell. Release animals into the wild or put them on the animal market to earn Conservation Credits or sell them for extra cash.
After you’ve got control of earning some money and Conservation Credits, you can expand your zoo with more habitats, hire more staff like mechanics and security guards, and pay attention to your guests’ needs; make them happy with toilets, food, drink, gift shops, benches to rest, and so on.
