Platform Masters development (May 1, 2009) - first world, objects and sample level

Working at a very high rate and intensity, I've made major progress in just the last 3 days. The story has been written (the major and moderate aspects are grade A-, though the minor ones are B-), the objects have been added, the scenery of the forest world (which isn't the first world in the game, rather, it's world 5) has been added, and I even made a sample level to introduce how levels work. It's difficult to do without using the engine to build levels (I did this by directly setting positions in the program, which is inefficient and not very effective). This video shows the current progress. Next up is fixing the bug I found, those two functions that really need it, creating the low-density version of the clouds (the high density version is shown), then the character (which will be considerably simplified compared to TSO). Adding collision detection, character movement mechanics, and testing the sample level are next.
