If you thought Super mode got you a bit higher, think again. Try doubling or even tripling that height. This video explains not only how to reach maximum height (yes, maximum, unfortunately), but I demonstrate it in the 7 known levels that it can be done. This trick requires super or hyper mode in order for it to work though. If I had a Gameshark for the PS1 and a code to bypass this height limitation, I could actually get above those clouds drifting above without infinite jumping!

World 1-2 (known as Super 1-2 here), is the earliest level that this can be done with. The other levels are world 3-1, and 5-1, and extra (known as hyper) 1-2, 3-1, 5-1 (my top favorite), and 6-3. It is very difficult to do it in extra 6-3 (it took me 5 takes).
