Demo'ing Demos is a new video series here at Import Gaming FTW that simply does just that--demo demos, particularly Japanese ones. First up is the preparation edition" of Play Play PlayStation, the Japanese equivalent to the West's PlayStation Underground CD magazine service. Play Play was the main perk for members of the PlayStation Club in Japan, and had a long run of demos. This particular demo contains two CDs that contain Demo Demo Special and Play Play #0.
Gameplay was captured using the Elgato Game Capture HD from a PlayStation One console upscaled via a Framemeister, and video/audio was edited using Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite, Version 12.
Music was used from the following games: Legend of the Mystical Ninja (Konami, SNES), PlayStation Underground Jampack Winter 1999 (Sony, PS1), Demo Demo Special (Sony, PS1), Motor Toon Grand Prix (Sony, PS1), Victory Zone: Real Pachinko Simulator (Sony, PS1), Gokujou Parodius Da! DELUXE PACK (Konami, PS1), Chrono Cross (Squaresoft, PS1), Zero Divide (Zoom, PS1), Raiden Project (Seibu Kaihatsu, PS1), Ace Combat (Namco, PS1), PlayStation Underground #3 (Sony, PS1), Harmful Park (Sky Think Systems, PS1), Play Play PlayStation #0 (Sony, PS1), Gensou Suikoden (Konami, PS1) and The Adventure of Little Ralph (New, PS1).
