Players Running Rampant with D&D Ability Checks| GM 911
DM is having problems with overzealous players and their desire to always make skill checks. It's the job of the GM to call for ability checks not for the players to tell the dungeon master when they are going to make the roll. It's fine for a player to inform their game master their character has a skill and then the DM will inform the player if he wants a die roll or not.
