Tonight, since streaming on my PS5 hasn't been working out, I'm gonna give this ROM hack a shot, Sonic 1 Encore Mode. Inspired by Mania's mode of the same name, it's a difficulty hack that starts you off with one life, severely limits your ability to get more, alters the zone layouts to make them more difficult, and so on. Can I beat it? We're gonna find out tonight.
