Kale has been making some improvements to the Amiga driver. Unfortunately one of big remaining ones is poor handling of the floppy controller and disk formats. Not even the cracked version of Sensible World of Soccer will load from disk, but amusingly an unofficial CD conversion does load, and while not perfect, is quite playable. I am not as good at the game as I used to be however and in this video I get the sack before the season is out. Note, as it's on the CD32 there's no keyboard hooked up (MAME doesn't appear to support the external keyboard) so you can't enter your name, or even a save filename / save your game (even if the driver acts like a disk drive is connected)
