D-Day PART 1
Rendezvous with Destiny
Sgt. Baker, struggling to accept his new role as squad leader, has arranged to be the first one to jump in his stick of troopers...
It began with 3rd Squad in the plane waiting to jump out of the plane while Baker monologue his thoughts as a squad leader. Soon, Mac ready the squad and prepared to jump. However, a Flak hits the plane, and the squad is in disarray. Baker is ordered to stand at the entrance of the plane. Soon, the plane is hit again, and Baker is forced to jump out. He managed to open his parachute and reach safely. He meets up with Mac, and he gives Baker a pistol due to Baker losing his gear. They soon surprised two Germans who were checking a lifeless corpse of the paratrooper and killed them with ease. Mac checked his map to find where they were before moving out. Baker and Mac found Leggett and Cole near a house. They asked the resident in the house for location and revealed that they are at northeast of St Mere Eglise. With the knowledge, Cole order Mac, Baker, and Leggett to link anybody in their way.
Silence the Guns
Separated from a squad, he wasn't ready to command, Sgt. Baker must follow the lead of Platoon Sergeant "Mac" Hassay. Mac's objective: Destroy two German anti-aircraft guns...
After knowing where they are, they decide to destroy the nearby AA Guns that are harassing the planes carrying the paratroopers. They enter the back of the house and proceed to the objective where they encounter 2 Osttruppen near the crashed plane. Baker and Leggett provide suppressing fire while Mac flanks the soldiers. Another 3 came, and Mac provided the suppression while Baker and Leggett flank the troops. Baker soon gets a Kar 98k from one of the dead soldiers. They see the flaming wreckage of the plane and couldn't do anything but watch. They soon moved to a nearby house where 4 Germans came, and they used the 4 Fs to finish them. They soon found the AA Gun needed to be eliminated, they kill the crew and blew up the AA gun. Soon, Germans started attacking the paratroopers from the barn, but they got eliminated. The Germans in the area are aware of Americans' attack and prepare to defend the AA gun. There were about 10 of them, and they were killed soon. Baker blew the last AA gun, and Mac ordered Baker and Leggett that they need to be at Utah Beach to link with the 4th Infantry Division landing in that beach.
