Alien Vendetta is one of the must have megawads of 2002, being a massive team effort involving some of the best mappers of the time, all while running on doom2.exe without the need of source ports (although source ports will improve the experience). The only downside would be its outrageous difficulty level: this level pack is harder on Hurt Me Plenty than Plutonia Experiment would be on Ultra Violence, for starters. This WAD also got a music pack lately and we'll be using it, of course.

The time has finally come for me to try and conquer it on Ultra Violence. Wish me luck.

This update features Maps 21 to 25. Map 25 features one of the hardest challenges in the whole game with Demonic Hordes. A 27:00 minute par beast with over 1300 monsters to kill. I suppose if you can beat this level on UV, you can beat about anything?
