Playing Fighting is Magic
1I hate this game.
With that out of the way, I can say while its a Beta version and most characters are playable, along with smooth graphic designs and animation on most, I really did not enjoyed it. I can't stand seeing these characters beating the crap of each other neither on a cartoon or a game, and quite frankly, this fan game never ever made sense to begin with. As you can see, Rainbow Dash has some frames off her animation poses, but she is quite complete regardless. I like the fact that you can choose up to 6 different color palettes for each character, making some of them look like early versions of My Little Pony characters (I.E. Rainbow Dash with the palette of Firefly for one.) Some attacks are quite the looker, such as Rarity's multi gem barrage for example.
But then we got the fact that the AI here is quite obnoxious, always wanting to succumb into combo-ing you to death and leaving little room for anything original really. This is why not many fighting games had successfully copied the Street Fighter II formula, having instead cheap AI to try and make your gaming experience quite annoying instead of enjoyable.
