Playing Halo Infinite with an original XBox Duke Controller
Full, overly complicated instructions here: https://www.s-config.com/xbcd-original-xbox-controllers-win10/
I cut an XBox breakaway cable in half and soldered a USB cable to the other end. Then I installed the XBCD custom controller drivers and set up XOutput to make it behave like an XInput device. Then I played Halo Infinite, poorly, using the same controller I used to take to Halo CE and Halo 2 LAN parties.
I'd say subscribe for more, but I can't really promise more of this. This is ridiculous and silly. But then again, so am I, so I guess subscribe for more.
Also, because I was tired yesterday morning while soldering it together, I accidentally soldered a female USB end to the female XBox Breakway port, so I needed a male to male USB-A cable to hook this up, which thankfully I had thanks to having lost and then found the USB cable for the Vive breakout box.
I don't suggest you do this. Because it's dumb.
