Playing Street Fighter II: The World Champion (Hardest Difficulty) with M. Bison.
#alphaberzerkergaming #streetfighter2championedition #1992 #mbison
Gameplay is consistent with the Street Fighter II sub-series, with several changes from the original World Warrior edition. In addition to the eight main characters, the four Shadaloo Bosses (Balrog (Boxer), Vega (Claw), Sagat, and M. Bison (Dictator)), are now playable characters.
The Shadaloo Bosses were toned down considerably from the previous iterations, but remain relatively strong compared to the standard eight fighters. The returning eight main characters' techniques and priorities were further balanced for competition between different characters.
Ryu's and Ken's common fighting techniques were further differentiated. In World Warrior, both players are not allowed to choose the same character. This restriction has been eliminated in Champion Edition, allowing for "mirror matches".Minor graphical changes include color improvements, particularly for background stages. The portraits for all the characters and endings of some of the returning characters were redrawn.
There is new music for the end credits sequence. Ken, Ryu's best friend, greatest rival and former training partner, from the United States. Ryu's personal challenge rekindled Ken's fighting spirit and persuaded him to enter the World Warrior tournament, as well as feeling lackadaisical in his fighting potential due to spending too much time with his fiancée.I made a decent run, not worried about doing several perfects like i have done in previous playthroughs, (although i did made one against Vega of all Fighters!) but focusing more on enjoying the game.
M. Bison, known as Vega (ベガ Bega?) in Japan, is a video game character and the primary antagonist of the Street Fighter series, first appearing as a non-playable boss in Street Fighter II before becoming playable in its update, Street Fighter II: Champion Edition. He is a self-imposed dictator and megalomaniac seeking world domination.
M. Bison is an archetypal villain motivated by his own self-serving interests and lust for absolute power through world domination while also reveling in the one he currently wields as being a proud schemer who enjoys planning for his next move and taking great pride in whatever vile plans he conducts. He is a megalomaniacal and smug terrorist who seeks to rule the world with an iron fist whilst also being universally regarded as the greatest and most powerful martial artist of all time (stated in his own pre-boss fight dialogue with Ryu in Street Fighter Alpha 3), and will readily destroy anything or anyone who dares to stand between him and his shady goals. He shows a complimenting side, however, when he states to Karin Kanzuki that he watched her and Sakura fight, stating that they fight very well for girls and, after she defeats his Dolls, that Karin did well and is a qualified fighter.
Possessing a vast ego and a god complex, ignoring and disregarding any feeling of empathy for others and even takes pleasure in watching people suffer at his hands, never feeling a shred of regret or remorse for the numerous atrocities that he has committed. In many ways, Bison's characterization is comparable to the clinical diagnosis of a real-life psychopath or sociopath. Bison's malevolence and sadism are reflected in his iconic smile, a very wide grin that exposes not just all of the teeth but even the gums as well. He occasionally refers to himself in the third person (possibly to emphasize his own sense of self-importance) and displays a twisted sense of humor, as well as a "business before pleasure" attitude.
As the founder and leader of Shadaloo, M. Bison uses as many illegal methods as possible to achieve his destructive and barbaric goals, ranging from drug trafficking and arms dealing to terrorism and illegal human experimentation.
