Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Here's one of the crazier ideas I've had in a while - playing the original Super Mario Bros. on Nintendo Switch with a TurboGrafx-16 style controller. I'd like to thank Michelle from the PC Engine group I belong to for alerting me that these 8BitDo 2.4 GHz wireless controllers had been marked down from over to well UNDER $20, so I went ahead and picked one up. The price has been steadily rising since the deal first got announced so I'm glad I got in early, because I already had the "PCE Core Edition" for my Turbo Mini, but this one I decided will double as a controller for that AND for my Nintendo Switch. I'm going to play NES games with a TurboGrafx-16 style controller, and 16 year old me would have thought that was a hoot... if he had even known what a TurboGrafx-16 was!!
