8BitDo PlayStation Classic Adapter Review
9I think we all agree the PlayStation Classic was not the best designed "mini" product to be released. It had an odd selection of games, some were PAL as opposed to NTSC versions, and the layout of the menu system was about as bare bones and unappealing as possible. Some of these issues can be alleviated through hacking, but you're still tethered to a tiny PlayStation by a long controller cord UNLESS you buy something like this 8BitDo adapter. To my pleasant surprise it actually did MORE than I expected it to, allowing me to use the left analog stick on a PS4 controller in games like Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid by mapping the inputs to the D-pad. Well done 8BitDo. That alone made this worth the $15. It actually makes a mediocre product feel like a reasonably good one just by improving the playability of the games in it, and while sitting a reasonable distance from your TV to boot!
