This is a very self-aware platformer with RPG elements that doesn't take itself super seriously in terms of story or dialogue. Basically, monsters are invading and our character's the only one who can defeat them so go stomp on 'em til their dead! Geez, even the original "Super Mario Bros." had a deeper story than this... Oh well! Still pretty fun (and frustrating) game regardless!
