Long ago, in an age of magic and sorcery, an evil sorceress named Queen Bavmorda ruled the land under a reign of terror.
A baby girl, Elora Danna, is born, and, according to legend, is destined to destroy the evil queen, but Bavmorda vows to kill the child before that happens.
We play Willow, a young farmer chosen to be the protector of this newborn, and we must travel through mysterious forests and villages to help Elora Danna fulfill her destiny.

Thus begins one of the classic NES adventures created by Capcom, which improved upon the concept offered by The Legend of Zelda.
