4,396Today we're Playing Operation WinBack (WinBack: Covert Operations) one of the original cover based shooters. Released on Nintendo 64 in 1999 and later ported to Playstation 2 in 2001. It's the origin of its subgenre, so I'm digging into its story, its gameplay, and most importantly how it uses cover mechanics to set itself apart.
