About Amiibo:
Amiibos are small figures (Like action figures) that you can use in Amiibo compatible games like Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors to unlock stuff.
Their main purpose, though is Super Smash Brothers.
The Amiibo figures have an AI inside which can be used if you touch the figure with the Wii U gamepad's NFC point, register it, and use it in battles. (Like in the video)
They behave way different than the normal lvl 1 - 9 CPUs
What's so special about this AI is that it learns from you and improves itself. Once it's up to level 50, it can be as strong and intelligent as a player in competitive level... or not.
If you let the Amiibo fight vs. COMs only and not with you in it, it won't learn much since the COMs are pretty casual, even at level 9.
A COM trained level 50 Amiibo is nothing compared to a human trained level 50 Amiibo.
Amiibos can be your best friends or your worst nightmares - you decide.
Each figure costs about 15 $ / €
