PlayStation 2 Slim, also known as PlayStation 2 Slimline, is a revision of the PlayStation 2 console. Released in 2004, it is smaller in size, lighter in weight and quieter than the original case design. It also has a built-in ethernet port and requires a modified Multitap. However, it does not have the expansion bay (thus no internal hard disk drive) and no internal power supply.
