PlayStation 2 - Way of the Samurai - Scenario 1 (Good and Indifferent)
12Here's an example of the ways in which you can respond to a situation in Way of the Samurai. This is the very beginning of the game and the first scenario that you run across. I am showing the difference between being good (stopping the thugs) and indifferent (letting them pass). I'm not showing the bad alternative (trying to join them), because I know DlNKYDANA (http://www.youtube.com/user/DlNKYDANA) recently picked the game up, and I don't want to spoil it for him.
I also engage in combat to show off the excellent weapon-based fighting engine. You can slash, thrust, parry, and block, but you also use momentum and position (high, medium, and low, as well as relative) to win engagements. You can nudge an opponent out of a block, or you can kick dirt in their eyes. The indifferent version is actually one of two I have experienced, the other being the samurai with the afro (yep) is upset that you didn't help, instead of the sulking he does in this one. I give him a what for for that attitude.
