Maybe for some people a few second faster is nothing but when you put SSD in your PS3 it will work better, less noise, lower temps, better performance, more stable FPS in some games (for example GTA V), fix pop-up issue in hard drive intense games, no problem with loading textures on time (hello unreal engine games), better loading times, for me SSD fix micro stutters in Uncharted 3 and The Last Of Us, EVEN XMB FEELS AND WORK BETTER. SSD is so cheap now days so just do it and enjoy your PS3!
