PlayStation Is About To Release Its Own PC Launcher?
74As a PC Player, I’m sure I’m not alone in thinking that every company having their own launcher is extremely tiresome, especially if said company locks their games behind it.
If Sony go down this path, I don’t think it will actually help them grow on PC, if anything it will make PC players more resentful then they are already (no one wants to buy a 3 year old port of a PS5 game for full price, their current strategy).
If they actually want to grow on PC, they need to treat the PC like the open platform its meant to be and release their games everywhere, day 1 on release.
In the past I thought the idea of their games coming day 1 was perhaps copium, but it seems like it could be happening based on recent comments and floundering commercial success, that being said, unless it’s a Bloodborne PC port, their games are looking more uninteresting then ever so they’ll need to win people over with quality games also.
