96Shadow of the Erdtree is more expensive than most DLCs out there, but I’m fine with it as long as they deliver on a large amount of quality content.
I’ve always said I’ll support a premium price for games that have no scummy monetisation practises and provide a fantastic experience. I’m not encouraging higher prices, but I also want to support these sorts of games on release to show the industry that these are the sorts of experiences we want.
The idea that it’s too expensive and random live service games provide better value (as some are saying) is sad to me.
