PlayStation Plus Price Increase and How to AVOID Them!

Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. In today's video, I'm going to talk about the recent PlayStation Plus subscription price hikes that Sony announced. If you haven't heard, Sony is raising the price of PS Plus by $20 to $40 per year, depending on which plan you have. That's a huge increase, and I'm not happy about it. Here's why.
First of all, Sony didn't give us any warning or explanation for this price hike. They just dropped it in a blog post along with the PS Plus games for September. That's not cool, Sony. You should at least tell us why you need more money from us, especially when your competitors are offering better deals.
Secondly, PS Plus doesn't offer enough value for the money. Sure, we get some free games every month, but they're usually old or indie titles that most of us already have or don't care about. We also get online multiplayer access, cloud storage, and discounts on the PlayStation Store, but those are basic features that should be included with the console.
Thirdly, PS Plus doesn't compare well to Xbox Game Pass, which is cheaper and offers more games and benefits. With Game Pass, you get access to hundreds of games from both Xbox and PC libraries, including all first-party Microsoft exclusives on day one. That means you can play Starfield right now for free with Game Pass, while PS Plus users have to wait and pay full price.
