For me still a very atmospheric game, especially because of the music by Stephane Picq. Buy the 1997 CD-version here: https://stephanepicq.bandcamp.com/alb...
Or buy a new (2024) remastered version here: https://stphanepicq.bandcamp.com/albu...

The story about dinosaurs and humans living together feels fresh, while some aspects feel assembled together from other fables and legends. Still, it works quite well together. Compared to Dune, there's less (strategy) gameplay and more focus on story, which for me personally was a welcome switch.
Back in 1995 graphics were very impressive, because of its cinematic camera-movements and big character sprites. Compared to the 3D-characters in Dragon Lore (which was released earlier, in 1994), sprites were still handdrawn in Lost Eden. For the better, I think; in 1995, 3D was still in its infancy, especially character-modelling. It makes the cast of Lost Eden way less dated. Enjoy!

TECHNICAL NOTES
* Lost Eden is perfectly playable in the program 'Dosbox.'
* When you've a flickering mouse-cursor; be sure to use the output = openglnb in the Config-file.
