This video goes over the PLC, or PLaCement Bonus and how it works. Put simply, it's a damage bonus based on how many of your units surround an enemy unit. This works in Super Robot Wars V, X, T and 30, however it does work for previous games in the series also.

One Unit - No Bonus
Two & Three Units - 5% Bonus
Four Units - 10% Bonus
Diagonal placement does not contribute to the bonus.
