Time for more Days Gone at long last! :)
Boozer is in really bad shape, his blood poisoning is no laughing matter, he could die. We're at Lost Lake but apparently we're not welcome there after a falling out with its leader Iron Mike, so after promising Boozer we're not gonna kill anyone we need to sneak into the infirmary, steal the antibiotics we need and get out. It's not easy! O_O The sneaking part is lethal, it's a full camp and it's not quiet in the slightest. Still we eventually get there, only to be interrupted by Rikki and Addy the camp doctor, whoops. Rikki immediately expects the worst of us and thinks we're stealing narcotics but Addy, who is lovely, sees that it's antibiotics and after Deacon tells them what's up she is absolutely adamant that she will treat Boozer, she's a doctor and he's sick, that's what hey do. Told you she's great! :)
We ride out and pick up Boozer with Rikki who seems almost like a big sister to the two. Seems they have real history. She seems to want better for them and apparently disapproved of what they used to do, think that was running narcotics for Tucker etc. She's kind of shocked at the state boozer is in as he points his shotgun at her too, but even in his mumbly crazy state he remembers her name, she's able to coax him onto his feet and they get him on the bike. They get him to the camp and Addy checks him out. It's bad. The antibiotics will only be the start, this won't be quick or easy. Deacon needs to go talk to Iron Mike.
Iron Mike it turns out, is actually really cool, it's "Skizzo" who's the problem :/ Thankfully Rikki is there and her an Mike seem to be on the same page. Deacon tries the old "we just need antibiotics then we'll leave" type approach but that won't work here. We owe them, they need help and Boozer needs a long course of medical treatment. Deacon tells Iron Mike their plans, he really seems a good guy, then heads over to Addy who needs supplies. She wants us to get a "Liston Knife" from somewhere called Sherman's Camp which Deacon immediately notes is absolutely crawling with Freakers, Hooray! :D This is our price to pay for Boozer though. There's another problem I want to tend here too. This was where we sent Lisa to remember? Yeah well she's missing again hah.
