Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky is a role-playing video game developed by Chunsoft and published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, it is an enhanced version of Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness. The game features additional content, including new storylines, Pokémon, and gameplay enhancements. through the addition of "Special Episodes" that provide backstories for certain characters, expanding on the plot from Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness.
In Explorers of Sky, players start as a human who has mysteriously turned into a Pokémon and, along with a Pokémon partner, joins a guild to explore various dungeons, complete missions, and uncover the mysteries of their transformation.
