Welcome to a new series on my channel! I've always been fascinated by the hardest challenges in the PMD games: Level-reset dungeons that are 99 floors long and prohibit bringing in any items. This series will showcase all of those dungeons, from official PMD games to ROM hacks, and how I beat each and every one of them. As an additional challenge, I won't be allowing quicksaving or rescuing, so I need to beat it in one go.

In this video, I complete Zero Isle South. This dungeon has 99 floors, temporarily resets your team's levels to 1, only allows you to bring one Pokémon, and prohibits you from bringing in items or money. It is unlocked after graduating from the guild.

Zero Isle South is the only "ultimate dungeon" from Time and Darkness and is the successor to Purity Forest from Rescue Team. Sky added Destiny Tower which is basically a harder version of this. Zero Isle South is quite harder than Purity Forest, especially in the early floors. Nearly every floor up to the half-way point has an enemy that will ruin your day; Volbeat, Lanturn, Hypno, Drifloon, Weavile, and Skuntank to name a few. Because of this, you really need to be careful with what Pokémon you bring and how you maneuver around them. However, unlike Purity Forest, Reviver Seeds can be found on the ground instead of only being in shops, which makes this dungeon much easier if you know how to deal with the brutal enemies. There are a few locked doors which contain Exclusive Items for legendaries and the Miracle Chest, and your reward for completing the dungeon is either a Life Seed or Joy Seed. While those aren't great rewards, the shops in the 90s can contain Trap Scarves, Goggle Specs, and Tight Belts. This is the only place in the game to get those three items, so it's worth buying or stealing them if you get the chance.

As for me, I can basically do this dungeon on-command. I've attempted this and Destiny Tower since 2015 and pretty much have each enemy down to a science. I use Smoochum due to her great stats, fantastic moves in Sweet Kiss and Powder Snow, and excellent ability Forewarn. Since the enemies bulls**t you, you kinda have to bulls**t them back. I've seen others use Drifblim, Rotom, and Spiritomb, but I've used Smoochum for years and that's who I'm used to. In terms of a strategy, it's too detailed to put in one description, so I'll likely make a text or video guide in the future.
