PMDG 737 NGX - REAL BOEING PILOT | Full Flight Tutorial | Pisa to Ibiza | Part 3/3
613Welcome back to FlightDeck2Sim Full Flight Tutorial No.1 Part 3/3!
We have just a few miles to go before TOD as I show you what PF would setup in the FMC to fly an ILS Approach following a transition from the STAR onto the extended centreline.
The PMDG defaults to a VNAV logic which is different to what I’m used to so apologies for any confusion. This is clearly annotated in the video and I’m working to find out how to change the VNAV logic to what I’m used to (Disabling VNAV ALT). Any advice would be great!
We’re flying the RIXOT 2N into Ibiza (LEIB/IBZ) which ends at the IAF of BEBES which leads us straight onto ILZ Z RW24. The weather isn’t ideal with winds gusting to 40kts!
Throughout the descent, I provide basic instruction on VNAV and how we would use some of the other modes. I’m planning on making a tutorial on descent planning and energy management soon.
