Welcome to the first of many normal and supplementary procedure tutorials!

Today we’re going to look at the 737-800 Engine Start Procedure using standard operating procedures.

This tutorial also includes Isolated Pack Operation during Engine Start, a method used to provide conditioned air to the cabin between starting engines.

The 2nd engine start procedure shows how to start the engine using a Ground Air Source and then a Crossbleed Start to Start Engine No2 (This method is used when the APU is inoperative)

As I always stress my tutorials contain one way of operating this brilliant aircraft. Some operators and tutorials might show you a different procedure or setup!

Any questions feel free to ask!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All guidance in my tutorials are based on operating procedures from a real operator, I have almost 4000 hours on the 737-800 (The real one) and I'm also a full-time Instructor working in a full motion Level D simulator.

The aim of this channel is to provide realistic, informative and useful information to help you enhance your flight simulation experience by following me apply real world operating procedures in the PMDG NGX.
