Have you ever been given those dodgy radar vectors provided by FSX ATC and ended up hitting the side of a mountain? Want to know how we fly a procedural approach in the 737? Next time you fly IFR request a procedural approach direct to the beacon and follow the guidance in this tutorial!

Procedural Approaches allow airports to accept IFR flights without Ground Radar and although less efficient at getting planes on the ground quickly due to separation requirements they are still used at several airports around the world with and without Radar.

This tutorial covers the ILS X Procedural Approach onto RW28 in Bergamo (LIME/BGY) using my companies operating procedures.

As I always stress my tutorials contain procedures based on my 4000 hours experience and what I instruct in a full motion Level D sim for my operator. Other operators/tutorials might show you a different procedure or setup based on different operating procedures.
