[Pod] Single Race: Spin
3This level will make your head spin. But not necessarily for the reason you might think about...
I mean, look at it: it looks awesome! It has vibrant colours, huge skyscrapers, flashing lights and a magnificent green waterfall. It is so awesome that the 3dfx version supposedly was a true harddrive space consumer back in 1997... But I digress here.
Spin is a long track ans has lots of curves, corners and U-turns which does require some learning laps. As if it was not enough it has multiple routes possible, one being much shorter than the others. But once you know the optimal pathway it is much easier to drive than it looks.
Things are getting a bit – just a little bit – more difficult when it comes to shortcuts. The first one [0:22] is easy and saves a bunch of time: make sure you are driving fast enough, hit the ramp and shoot into the little hole above the main route. The second [0:33] works the same way but instead of staying left until the ugly exit take advantage of the fallen railing and zoom back on the center pathway.
